2017 Safety Award Winners

In the 32nd year of the Safety Awareness program, NCSPA is proud to present 53 plants with no lost workdays. In all 9 member companies earned awards. In addition to the annual Safety program, NCSPA is also honoring those plants that have achieved extraordinary long-term safety records. Of special note, Contech Engineered Solutions had 1 plant reach between 5,000 days without a worktime accident and also had 3 plants reach between 3,000 and 4,999 days without a worktime accident and 1 plant between 1,000 and 2,999 days without a worktime accident. We would also like to congratulate Pacific Corrugated Pipe Company which had 1 plant between 3,000 and 4,999 days without a worktime accident. We would also like to congratulate Big R Bridge which had 1 plant reach between 1,000 and 2,999 days without a worktime accident. A special note, Lane Enterprises, Inc. had 1 plant reach between 1,000 and 2,999 days without a worktime accident. The importance of operating a safe workplace becomes more apparent each year. The NCSPA program offers an incentive for developing and continuing to operate safe plants and offices. The membership should continue to strive to join in this outstanding program.
