This central Iowa county chose Corrugated Steel Pipe as the answer to the problem. 64" inside diameter pipe was used to maximum the flow of the water while still allowing enough room to back grout the new pipe. Corrugated Steel Pipe can be manufactured in any pipe diameter because it is not extruded list plastic pipe or cast is set forms like concrete pipe. This allows for the most hydraulically efficient reline pipe for inlet flow culverts.
