The pipe was 144" solid 10-gage Aluminized Steel Pipe with 24" wide corrugated levee bands and 24" wide flat gaskets to provide for a tight-fitting band connection. \r\n\r\nWhat makes this large pipe installation fall under the sustainability category, is native coarse sand, meeting ASTM Class II material, was used as backfill. No special backfill was needed to be imported onto the project site. This saved the owner a substantial amount of tax dollars as well as saved several transportation trucks that would have been otherwise needed to haul off existing fill and bring in select fill."},"13":{"field-type":"text-f","field-title":"Name","field-content":"Bob Moore"}}
