Construction of a new shopping center warranted a stormwater runoff system that included both a retention pond manifold and detention system overflow. Along with the longer runs of pipe, all of the corrugated metal pipe had to be connected to a Type 4 concrete catch basin per ADOT standard Detail C-15-30. To achieve this feat, three 42” tees were used to connect the longer runs of CSP.
For the 60” pipe, four 90º elbows and eight tees were used to assemble a six-barrel manifold with three 42” tees. This setup created an outlet to drain into a retention pond. In addition, the 48” pipe also made use of four 90º elbows and four tees to assemble a four-barrel run manifold.
