This unique ski slope tunnel project was originally started in July 2018 and was being carried out by a private investor . The purpose and design of this project was to help the development of the Gyimes Region, in Harghita County, by completing the following stages:
– Preparing the area for the structure assembling
– Assembling the structural plate tunnel
– Bobbing track mounting
The overall idea behind the ski slope tunnel project was to create a unique place for tourists to spend their free time and to improve the conditions for practicing winter sports. The investment helped not only to develop the attractiveness of the area but also to create new jobs possibilities.

After the ski slope tunnel project was designed, the structure was assembled in 4 days with 5 workers, guided by ViaCon Romania specialists.
The opening of the bobsleigh track and the ski slope were inaugurated simultaneously.
